Epiphone G-400 Gothic Reviews 4

Previous to the purchase of this guitar I had been playing my cousins Fender that he let me borrow. After a while I decided to go out and by my own guitar. It wasn't long before I saw the sg's and I knew I had to buy one. I couldn't afford a thousand dollar (and up) gibson sg so I decided to go for a Epiphone. originally I wanted a plain g400 but went for the Gothic version. I bought it new at a shop in Brandon Manitoba. After taxes it came to six hundred Canadian dollars.

I love this guitar. The shape of it is amazing and the paint job just makes it look more awesome. The twelve inlay with the roman nuemeral is sweet as well.

Nothing really I haven't had any problems with it yet.

It is a solid made guitar. The only thing wrong with the quality of my guitar in piticular was a few tiny little scratches around the neck humbucker and on the switch(they are hardly noticably even at a close distance). But the store clerk took fifteen bucks off it so that evened it out.

Overall I love this freaken guitar!!!. It is a good guitar for the price. But if you got the money buy a gibson

Got it used on eBay for $400. I think I got a pretty good deal. Was looking for something different and this certainly fit the bill. Plays well into my dark and mental playing style.

Solid quality, great looks and great tone. What else could you want for $400?

Tone is kind of limited. Even though the base pickups sound good, there's not a lot of tonal variety in my opinion. I might have rather purchased something from PRS, etc.

First rate. Solid construction, great feel. Well put together.

Overall, not a bad deal for $400.
